While on a motorcycle tour returning to Tucson, Az from Cleveland, Ohio… I found myself on another adventure called Luckenbach!
I don’t mind saying that this is one of the most adventurous unscheduled experiences that I’ve had!
Luckenbach, Texas is not a place that I had known about and frankly I’m not sure it would have made my “bucket list”.
Nearing the last leg of my multi-week motorcycle ride… suffering the long, hot July days of Texas on I-10 and just wanting to be anywhere else but where I’m at. I get invited to have beer. While waiting for traffic a guy and his girl on a Harley made small talk while we waited at the light. They were pleasant enough and after three stop lights my No-Thank-You response changed to “Okay.”
convinced by a couple on a Harley to leave my relative “safety” of I-10 and public view to follow two strangers off the well-traveled path onto backwood laden paths several miles out of my way in Texas.
