The Tucson Police Department is investigating the death of a motorcyclist killed after a collision with a Hummer on Sunday.

Robert Clark, 23, was riding his motorcycle east on Broadway when he struck a Hummer making a U-turn into the eastbound lanes of Broadway near Park Place.

Clark was unable to avoid hitting the Hummer and rear-ended it, said Officer Dallas Wilson.

Clark, who was pronounced dead at the scene, appeared to have been wearing a helmet, he said.

The Hummer’s driver and passenger were not injured, Wilson said.

Investigators are trying to determine which driver was at fault, and no citations have been issued.
