To think that there were once so many that a herd of bison could take days to pass! Today although the free roaming and genetically pure herds of American Bison can be found in a number of places, it is believed that largest numbers are found on public lands in North America in places like Yellowstone National Park.

Ted and I traveled agressively, spending as much time as we could in each place that we visited. By the time we made Yellowstone, Ted had already traveled from Cleveland to New Orleans and on to Killeen Tx. I met him in Killeen and we made it to Tucson by way of a visit in Albquerque, NM.

After spending the 4th of July in Tucson we made it to San Diego, Califormia and enjoyed the coast to San Franciso. Then on to the Redwood Forest and into Canada. After  few days in Vancouver B.C. we spent a few days in Eugene, Oregon and then on to Glasier National park and then on to Yellowstone.
